New York Fashion Week 2024 witnessed some of the best styles and flowers yet! Bosland’s Flower Shop brought floral artistry to the runway during a collab between Susan Alexandra and Rachel Antonoff titled Best in Show. Featuring rescue pups and celebrity models (both dressed in fun, eclectic colors and prints), the show celebrated fashion and philanthropy in style and with fresh blooms.
Of course, the fashion show was filled with adorable dogs, but so were the flowers! Bosland’s brought to life their floral poodles, which caught the eye of the fashion designers before the start of NYFW ’24. When they called the flower shop to see if Bosland’s could recreate the fresh flower poodle sculptures they saw on their website, there was no hesitation.
The process of creating the whimsical floral designs was intricate, taking about 20 hours to carve, pin, paint, and apply each flower with care. The final touch—adding the eyes, noses, and eyelashes—brought the floral pups to life.
This marks Bosland’s fashion show and NYFW debut!
While the floral poodles wowed the crowd, the four-legged, furry models were the stars of the show in hopes of finding their forever homes. While many of them did, there are a few who are still waiting to be adopted. You can learn more about them through Animal Haven and Muddy Paws Rescue NYC.
